This emblematic market, recognized as the only 24-hour flower market in the city, transforms at the end of October into a vibrant scene of color, tradition, and symbolism. Its hallways are filled with vibrant marigolds, red velvets, papel picado (cut paper banners), candles, and traditional decorations that bring to life the Day of the Dead altars throughout the city.

This gastronomic and cultural experience will allow you to live one of Mexico's most important traditions from an authentic and local perspective. The tour begins by meeting your guide at a metro station in the Condesa area, from where you will travel together by public transport to the market, immersing yourself from the start in the dynamic daily life of Mexico City.

Once at the market, you will wander through its bustling aisles, discovering flowers and typical decorations, and the deep cultural significance behind the offerings and altars of this day. You will learn about the essential elements of this celebration as you explore stalls overflowing with colorful sugar skulls, Mexican handicrafts, and charming skeleton figures. Throughout the tour, you can enjoy all the food you can eat, enough for a full breakfast and lunch. You will taste traditional flavors such as tacos, tlacoyos, tamales, atole and the famous huaraches de Jamaica, originally from this area of the city. In addition, you'll sample the classic freshly baked pan de muerto (Day of the Dead bread), candied pumpkin, and a tasting of pulque, an ancestral Mexican alcoholic beverage. Your experience will be accompanied by a local culinary guide with gastronomic knowledge, who will enrich the tour by sharing local stories, family traditions, and knowledge about Mexico City's culinary culture.
