Journey Through La Merced

Our tour kicks off in the Downtown Historic Center, leading us directly to La Merced Market. Get ready to dive into the market's bustling banquetón, or prepared food area, where we'll sample a variety of tacos, quesadillas, aguas frescas, and tamales. Next, we'll wander through the enormous fruits and vegetables building, discovering (and tasting!) prehispanic ingredients like grasshoppers and agave worms. After a quick break, we'll leave the market and head back into the La Merced neighborhood to cap off our adventure with a refreshing drink and snack at a beautiful, hidden gem restaurant you won't want to miss!
